This Policy applies to all individuals (“Customers”, “you”, or “your”) who access, browse, or use the Platform, or otherwise provide information to Sodion in connection with the purchase or use of its products. The Policy is formulated in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in India.

This Policy does not apply to information collected offline (unless otherwise specified), to any other websites or platforms operated by Sodion that do not link to this Policy, or to third-party websites linked from the Platform. We encourage you to read this Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information.

Personal Information means any information that relates to an individual and that, either directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available to Sodion, is capable of identifying that individual and is collected via or submitted to the Platform. Information that is freely available in the public domain, or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other applicable law, is not considered Personal Information for the purposes of this Policy.

As Sodion expands its activities to include sponsorships, contests, and event activations, we may in the future collect health, fitness, or athlete-related information you choose to share with us in that context. Any such collection will be subject to the explicit consent requirements described in Section 4 of this Policy.

By accessing or using our Platform and providing your information, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy and consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure, and transfer of your information as outlined in this Policy, including sharing your information with third parties in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with any term in this Policy, please do not use or access our Platform. Continued use of the Platform signifies your acceptance of this Policy.

By providing your contact information (such as phone number or email) to Sodion, you expressly consent to receive communications from us related to our products and services, via email, SMS, phone calls, WhatsApp, or other means, including on numbers registered on the Do Not Disturb (DND) / National Customer Preference Register (NCPR). You confirm that any such communication shall not be considered Unsolicited Commercial Communication under the TRAI Regulations, since you have solicited our communication by providing your contact information and consenting to this Policy.

Information You Provide Directly
When you interact with our Platform, you may voluntarily provide Personal Information — for example, when you place an order, create an account, sign up for updates, submit an enquiry, or contact our customer support. This may include your name, address, email address, phone number, and any information you share via WhatsApp, email, or our contact channels. You can choose not to provide certain information, but doing so may limit your ability to use some features of the Platform, such as placing an order.

Information Collected Automatically
We may automatically collect certain information about your visit and use of the Platform through cookies and similar technologies, including your browser type, device information, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and approximate location (based on IP address). This information helps us understand how the Platform is used and improve your experience.

Information from Third-Party Sources
We may receive information about you from third parties we work with — for example, updated delivery details from a courier partner, or transaction confirmations from our payment processor, Razorpay. Any information we obtain from third parties is treated in accordance with this Policy; however, Sodion is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties it does not control.

If you contact us by phone, we may note details of the call for the purpose of resolving your query and improving our customer service.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

• Contact Information: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
• Order Information: products purchased, order history, order value, delivery preferences.
• Account Information: if applicable, username and password for any account you create.
• Payment Information: payment confirmation and transaction reference details. Full card, UPI or bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment gateway partner, Razorpay, and are not stored by Sodion.
• Communications: records of enquiries, feedback, or support requests you send us by email, WhatsApp, or through the Platform.
• Technical and Usage Information: IP address, browser and device details, and how you interact with the Platform.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health records, biometric data, or financial account details beyond what is needed to process a transaction) unless specifically necessary and provided with your explicit consent.

Where we do need to collect any sensitive personal data or information (such as health, dietary, or fitness-related information you choose to share with us, including in connection with events, contests, or sponsorship activities), we will seek your explicit, opt-in consent before collecting it, clearly stating the purpose of collection. You may review, correct, or withdraw this consent at any time by writing to hydration@sodionfuel.in, and such withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

We use your Personal Information to:

• Process and fulfil your orders, including payment processing (via Razorpay), packing, and shipping.
• Communicate with you about your order, account, or enquiries — including confirmations, shipping updates, and responses to support requests.
• Send you promotional or marketing communications about Sodion products and offers, where you have not opted out.
• Improve our Platform, products, and customer experience, including through analysis of usage patterns.
• Detect and prevent fraud, unauthorised transactions, or misuse of the Platform.
• Comply with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent for certain processing, such as marketing communications. You may withdraw this consent at any time as described in Section 10.

Our Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the Platform is used, and support our marketing efforts. Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can adjust your browser settings to refuse or delete cookies. Please note that disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Platform, such as your ability to complete checkout.

Some of our service providers may store or process your Personal Information on servers located outside India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such providers maintain a level of protection for your information that is comparable to the protections described in this Policy.

Personal Information you provide is stored on secure servers, including those of trusted third-party service providers such as our website hosting and payment processing partners. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — including access restrictions, secure connections (SSL/TLS encryption at checkout), and limiting data access to personnel who need it — to protect your Personal Information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account or information, please contact us immediately at hydration@sodionfuel.in.

We retain:

• (a) order and transaction records for the period required under applicable tax and accounting law (currently up to 8 years);
• (b) account information for as long as your account remains active, plus 1 year; and
• (c) marketing communication data until you opt out, plus a further 90 days to process that opt-out.

Once these periods lapse, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise the relevant information.

Sodion does not sell or rent your Personal Information. We share your information only as follows:

• Payment Processing: with Razorpay, our payment gateway partner, solely to process your payment securely. Sodion does not store your full card, UPI, or bank account details.
• Delivery and Logistics: with courier and shipping partners, solely to deliver your order.
• Service Providers: with providers who support our operations, such as website hosting, IT, and customer support tools, under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Compliance: where required to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Sodion, our customers, or others.
• Business Transfers: in connection with a sale, merger, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We may also share aggregated or anonymised information, which does not identify you personally, for analytical or business purposes.

Subject to applicable law, you may:

• Opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails, replying STOP to SMS/WhatsApp messages, or writing to us at hydration@sodionfuel.in. You may continue to receive transactional messages related to your orders.
• Request access to the Personal Information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations.
• Withdraw consent for processing that is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
• Nominate, in the manner prescribed under applicable law, another individual to exercise your rights under this Policy in the event of your death or incapacity.

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (including our payment gateway, Razorpay, and any social media pages we maintain). These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, and Sodion is not responsible for their content or data practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you interact with.

Our Platform is not directed to or intended for children under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please use the Platform only with the involvement of a parent or guardian, and do not submit any Personal Information without their consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, we will take steps to delete it. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The Last updated date at the top of this Policy indicates when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

For any material change to this Policy — including changes to the purposes for which we use your Personal Information or the third parties with whom we share it — we will seek your fresh, affirmative consent (for example, via a notification banner or checkbox) before the change takes effect. For non-material changes, your continued use of the Platform after the Last updated date constitutes acceptance.
